Hi there!

My name is Itara, and I’m a 22-year-old who has been looking for ways to keep a memoir of my journey with Jesus Christ. Part of my reason for starting this blog is to satisfy inquisitive minds who are curious about what it means to have a relationship with God (yes, I know y’all are out there 🙂). Whether consciously or subconsciously, I was once in that position, trying to understand what people saw in this God they claimed to worship.

Another reason why I started the blog is to be a source of encouragement to my fellow believers in Christ. I want to let you know that both in the highs and the lows, you are not alone.

It is my prayer that the writings you read here will be a source of light and hope for you in Jesus’ name.

So, in letting you know what to expect, I’d say most of the blogs will be actual stories of how following Christ influences my decisions, actions, and my life in general. While some will be written in a prose/story-telling form, others will be what I like to call “poemish”. They are a mix between prose and poetry. I find that I write like that sometimes, and I love it. I am not exactly a poet, but I find that writing prose in poem form can help me better express myself. This is something I’m discovering as I write. Who knows what I’ll discover next on this journey? Haha 😄
