About Us

My name is Itara, I’m a girl in her 20s who has been looking for ways to keep a memoir of her journey with Jesus. One of my reasons for starting this blog is to satisfy inquisitive minds that are curious about what it means to have a relationship with God. Whether consciously or subconsciously, I was once in that position, trying to understand what people saw in this God they claimed to worship.

Another reason why I started the blog is to be a source of encouragement to fellow believers in Christ. Letting you know that both in the highs and the lows, we are not alone.

It is my prayer that the writings you read here will be a source of light and hope for you in Jesus’ name.

So, in letting you know what to expect, I’d say most of the blogs will be actual stories of how following Christ has influenced my decisions, actions, and my life in general. While some will be written in a prose/story-telling form, others will be what I like to call “poem-ish”. They are a mix between prose and poetry. I find that I write like that sometimes, and I love it. I don’t exactly write poems, but I find that writing prose in poetry form can help me express myself better. This is something I’m discovering as I write. Who knows what I’ll discover next on this journey?
